In 2016 the first ADA picnic structure was built in the park.  The shelter has exposed timber framing/roof system with local stone veneer columns to match the original 1940’s construction throughout the park.  Four concrete picnic pads were created along the repaved asphalt trail to the fishing pier.  An ADA accessible concrete ramp was added from the historic bathhouse to the existing boat house
