A public charter school with a STEM/STEAM focus for grades Kindergarten through 12th was originally an old check printing facility.  The renovation of the 80,000-sf complex was completed in 2010 for $3.2 million at the time.  It included the creation of new classrooms, a lunchroom with associated kitchen facilities, a media center, staff / administrative offices, and science labs complete with the latest internet connections for the time.  A new 8,000sf gymnasium was also built onto the existing building.
