Using bond monies, the City decided to renovate two Fire Stations at the same time.  Both included the addition of new truck bays to accommodate the current larger fire trucks and extensive renovations to the existing facilities in 2017.  These featured upgrading the kitchens, living quarts, and meeting spaces.  Fire Station #7 located off Arbor Road and #9 off Ogburn Ave both started as houses that the Fire Department occupied and have undergone an amazing transformation.
